Top Notch Jeweler in ALL Aspects. Alex assisted me in the purchase of earrings for my wife. From the start, Yates/Alex were prompt to assist me -- offering high quality and reasonably priced options. Communication throughout the entire process was exceptional. Their ETA for the custom pair was spot on. Delivery was fast & secure. Payment transaction was quick, efficient, and simple. I received not just the earrings in a jeweler box with independent lab-graded diamond Certificates (for each diamond), but Alex was so kind to also include a gift bag and tissue paper to present to my wife. Alex/Yates went above and beyond for both service and product than what you would get from a "Big Box Jeweler." I'm already considering my next purchase from them and look forward to being impressed, again!

Alex Steed at Yates was excellent in helping me find the perfect engagement ring for my fiancée, and yet again in helping me pair it with the perfect wedding band after she said "yes"! Today we visited Yates & Co Jewelers for the first time to see what we can get for our gold jewelery. Alex was very professional and courteous and took her time accessing our jewelry. We were very pleased of the outcome. If anyone is looking to purchase or sell jewelry/ gold, Yates & Co Jewelers is a place for you. We definitely will revisit the establishment!

We always have a great experience at Yates. I bought my wife’s engagement ring from here in 2021, and recently bought her diamond studs for Christmas in 2025. Yates had the exact studs my wife was looking for, at an incredible price. Both times I’ve bought jewelry were a great, smooth experience with amazing customer service. They always provide the diamond certificates with every detail, which is always appreciated. We will definitely be back.

I looked for a jeweler in my area to help me create a special necklace for my daughter-in-law to be and to repair a ring my mother had left me. I ended up making the 45 minute drive to Modesto to check out Yates & Co. Jewelers. On that first visit I met Alex. She was so friendly and helpful. I explained my ideas for the necklace and she brought out a catalog of settings to choose from. I had a diamond I wanted to mount in the setting and she made several measurements for different settings I liked before we settled on the perfect one. She also evaluated my ring for repairs. I needed to replace the large diamond, which I had lost, and all the prongs had to be built up with additional gold as they were very worn. The ring also had to be resized. I gave the go ahead for both projects as the prices were very reasonable and within my budget. Alex communicated with me during the entire process. Sometimes with questions or just estimated completion updates. When I went to pick the items up, I was so very pleased with the finished products!! The necklace was beautiful and Alex helped me pick out the perfect gold chain for it. It was a bridal gift for my daughter-in-law and she absolutely loved it!! Her family also thought it was lovely. My mother's ring looked brand new and was beautiful as well. Alex even followed up with me after the wedding on November 1st to see how my new daughter-in-law liked her necklace. I highly recommend this jeweler for their excellent customer service, quality, fair prices and integrity.

I carefully researched the best jewelers in the Central Valley before settling on Yates — and I was not disappointed with my experience. For over 40 years I had hung onto a family inheritance of silver — watching, carefully, for the value to rise enough to meet my expectations — and I could not be happier with the no-nonsense, and professionalism I experienced during my visit with Yates Jewelers Thank you Alexandra and Yates Jewelers for a very positive experience.

I absolutely adore this place. I'm getting married and i didn't want a traditional men's wedding band. I wanted it to either signify our love and connection with our similarities and bonds; or to mean a strong bond and protection. Long behold this place had a beautiful ring from a manufacturer i had my eyes on. I think black hills jewelry is beautiful. I like their leaf, vine, and grape symbols. And the quality of their jewelry. Yates and Co made everything easy for me. They were remarkably genuine and responsive. They even had phone number that you and them can text( if your the anxious type and phone calls aren't really your thing) and it made the process so much smoother. My ring had to be sent to me and even that process was simple. They offered ring resizing, and were willing to answer any questions i had to Ensure that i was getting exactly what I asked for. Me and my fiance bonds over our similar love for biology and nature. I couldn't of asked for a better service or ring. Thank you Yates and co for your remarkable service.

Oh my goodness, we love Yates & Co Jewelers!! My husband surprised me with my engagement ring and the process was so easy for him. We are in Texas so long distance + shipping the ring meant there was a lot of trust involved! Then it was time for my band! The ring was so unique, so I decided to design the band with Yates! The process was so quick and easy! They made a beautiful band to compliment the ring. Ashton was so helpful, knowledgeable and made this process enjoyable. Thank you Ashton!! We are so thankful for our experience in such an exciting and busy season!
